Private shuttle:  I have an entire fleet of Shuttles 2020 or newer ranging from Vans to Mercedes Mirco Buses and Full Busses. There isn't a size group or locations that I will not be able to help you with. Depending on the pick up and drop off locations and your desire to stop at sites the price will vary. I will have contact with you, the diver and the owner of the company to answer any questions or requests before during or after your trip.

Bus:  the least expensive, but most complicated and most work. The Country bus. Wifi, padded seats and A/C(since Covid they have had the AC off and windows open. It makes for a warm muggy ride unfortunately), the bus is a cost of 6,000est colones. This comes to about $12or so per person. You would have to take a taxi from the airport to the bus station. That can be an extra $20 on the overall cost. You would also have to wait for the bus to be ready. If you have many bags or don't like the hecticness of the unknown, I do not suggest this. Maybe after spending sometime in Costa Rica you can take the bus back to SJO then a taxi to the airport. This will seem easier after being here. But again, I don't suggest this if you have many bags.  You do not make any reservation, you just go with the flow of when you arrive and the bus schedule. (An interesting Covid Change, Windows open, no AC)

A collective shuttle: Easy peasy and cost effective. $55-$65 per person you will share a passenger van with A/C for a ride that will stop a few times along the way from SJO to Manuel Antonio or other Costa Rica destinations. They will be outside the double doors of baggage claim. You will take a shuttle bus to the nearby Denny's as part of the service and that will take you to the real shared shuttle that you will be taking to Manuel Antonio. That you will need to reserve on your own at
